Unlocking Nigeria's critical mineral wealth.

A duly registered Nigerian company developing strategic minerals for the global green economy — responsibly, transparently, and to international standards.

About Us

West Africa Minerals and Mining Company Limited (WAMMCO) is a duly registered Nigerian company incorporated with the Corporate Affairs Commission to unlock Nigeria's vast reserves of critical and rare earth minerals.

Nigeria possesses significant commercial deposits of lithium, tantalum, cobalt, and rare earth elements—minerals that are indispensable to electric vehicles, renewable energy systems, advanced electronics, and defence technologies. WAMMCO was established to responsibly develop these resources in accordance with international mining standards and sustainable development principles.

Our strategy combines modern geological expertise, ethical sourcing practices, and community-centred development. We maintain full compliance with the Nigerian Minerals and Mining Act 2007, the Environmental Impact Assessment Act, and globally recognised frameworks, including IFC Performance Standards, OECD Due Diligence Guidance, and ICMM Principles.
